Jack Miller endured annoyed Dutch Motogup at Assen, and his race described his race as “stuck in the middle of the group” when he crossed the line on the 14th when he began.
Pramac Yamaha riders advanced early and temporarily climbed to the edge of the top 10, but then failed to pass through Enea Bastianini, falling victim to other KTMs in Blood Binder.
Meanwhile, Fabio Qualtalaro, a pole qualifier for Monster Yamaha, fell behind the mirror after falling behind the planting and avoiding the fallen Ferminaldegu.
The Frenchman revolved the mirrors – also racing in a special 1999 red and white R7 colouring – on lap 26, lap 13, trapped behind Bastianini.
Quartararro ultimately finished 10th in Miller 1.3 seconds ahead, with Binder, Johann Zarco and Alex Rins closing in between.

“It was a race where I was stuck in the middle of the group and I kept fighting. I was behind ENEA for a long time and couldn’t do much,” Jack Miller said.
“Even when Fabio overtook me, he seemed to carry a little more speed, so I wanted to know what he could do, but he was stuck there too.
“Everyone is running at a similar pace so you basically have to wait for someone to make a mistake, otherwise it’s really hard. You’re not in a position to do so much.
“We had a bit of a struggle with braking the engine. I switched to map 2 with 3 laps and then to map 3 with 10 laps. From that point on, I couldn’t go anywhere.”
Despite the hardships of overtaking, Miller said:
“Let’s see what we can do in Germany.”
The Australian is currently traveling to Japan and is beginning to prepare for the Suzuka 8-hour endurance race in August.
Meanwhile, teammate Miguel Oliveira, who retired after bicycle damage following early tangles on Sunday, will be taking part in a private MOTOGP test at BRNO.
