It appears that Jack Miller and Miguel Oliveira have been handed their lifelines in their respective quests, which will remain in MotoGP by the end of 2025.
The Pramac Yamaha duo have been competing against each other since early summer, the second seat on the Italian satellite team in 2026. It’s certainly missed in 2026 as a result of Yamaha winning world superbike champion Toprak Razgatlioglu for the 2026 MotoGP campaign.

The Brazilian Saxony Ring race is remembered for his clash with David Alonso as much as he rode 25th to 4th before that error, but it was the latter point that had more impact on Moreira’s perception.
Yamaha is reportedly interested in signing the Brazilian in the second Pramac seat and has made an offer to him before the Austrian Grand Prix, but they were not alone.
Honda offered Moreira to race with the LCR Honda team in 2026, but it is reportedly likely to go to the factory team from 2027.
Autosport reports that Moreira’s favorite is Honda’s second offer.
Honda moved to capture Moreira and put him in the LCR, meaning there will be no 2025 rookie Sonkiat Chantra from next year’s MotoGP grid. The Thai rider stepped up this year, but only scored one point and was not taking action due to injuries. Chantra will be replaced by Alex Espargaro at Hungarian Ligue Rampuri this weekend.
Since Nakayama Nakayama moved to MotoGP in 2018, LCR Honda’s second seat has been supported by Japanese oil refinery company Idemitsu. Autosport reports that the sponsorship will be victimized on the move to sign Moreira in Brazil.
