Jake Paul is currently a ranked boxer.
Paul sits in 14th in the WBA’s latest cruiserweight rankings after covering the unanimous decision victory over former middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in Anaheim, California last Saturday night.
With the victory, “The Problem Child” takes him a step closer to his promise to fight for a world title. The 28-year-old improved his professional record to 12-1, resulting in his only loss through a decision split up by Tommy Fury in February 2023.
Since then, Paul has rattled six consecutive victories. Six months after suffering from the loss of his first professional, Paul defeated former UFC star Nate Diaz in a unanimous decision, following with consecutive first-round knockout wins against Andre August in December 2023 and Ryan Bourland in March 2024.
Paul competed twice more in 2024, stopping current BKFC star Mike Perry with a dominant performance with a six-round TKO. Perry intervened to replace Mike Tyson with his July fight card after Tyson was scared of his health. The Paul vs Tyson fight was rebooked this November, with Paul winning a unanimous decision against the former champion in one of Netflix’s most viewed sports events in recent memory.
