Boston Celtic star Jaylen Brown is not satisfied after the team lost to the Orlando Magic.
The Orlando Magic returned to the series after winning the first game of two home games against the Boston Celtics.
The Magic won the tight game 95-93 and rushed back despite the Celtics’ welcome to Jason Tatum into their team.
Franz Wagner scored 32 points and Paolo Bancello scored 29, bringing Boston’s lead back to 2-1 in the series.
The story of the series was physical, with Jason Tatum losing Game 2 after suffering a hand injury in the opener, and Al Horford criticising his magical approach.
And Kristaps Porzingis suffered an elbow in the head in the previous game.
Prior to Game 3, Jaylen Brown said the Celtics would not be threatened by their physical approach.
After the loss, Brown expressed his misfortune towards the judicial officers at a press conference in response to questions from the Boston Globe.
Brown warned: “There could be a battle breakout or something.
“It’s starting to feel like it’s not even basketball, and Reference doesn’t control the environment.”
“If we want to fight it, we can do it. We can fight to see who’s going to the second round.”
While the Boston Celtics dropped the game, a big positivity for them was Jason Tatum’s very impressive return.
Tatum scored 36 points, nine rebounds and four assists, played 39 minutes and showed no signs of being thwarted by injuries that kept him out of the second game of the series.
This portends a good for the Celtics for the rest of the series, with Jalen Brown scoring 19 points. The big difference between this was that Porzingis managed only 7 points.
