James Hillier has been reunited with a familiar face from his final ditch contract to ride Man TT Island in 2025.

Hillier will be re-entering Bournemouth Kawasaki after the collapse of the WTF race.

However, he will still feature in TT after signing a new contract with Bournemouth Kawasaki next month.

Hillier raced two Supersport races at Bournemouth Kawasaki on the TT and rode the Ninja ZX-6R.

He is sown NO5 on the list of the top 20 supersport riders.

Hillier said: “After a difficult few days, it was great to secure a ride with Pete and Bournemouth Kawasaki, especially as I returned with the Kawasaki ZX-6R since last year.

“We both know what we need to do, and we are sure it will hit the 25TT running.

“Thank you to the team and everyone who helped me sort this out with such a short notification.”

“We’re looking forward to seeing you in the process of doing things,” said Pete Extense, team owner at Bournemouth Kawasaki. “2025 started with the idea of spending a year since TT, but when that changed, we were too happy to talk to James and sign a deal for him to ride the Bournemouth Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6r.

“It didn’t take long for us to agree to a deal with James. We worked on preparing our bikes for the TT from the last week of May.

“We firmly believe James and the team are on the podium.

“We’re looking forward to seeing you in the process of marketing and racing,” said Ross Burridge, Head of Marketing and Racing at Kawasaki Motors, UK. “It was a shame to see what happened to James earlier this month.

“I’m sure two weeks will be great as James and the team have gained a huge amount of experience attacking bikes and events in general. We would like to thank them for riding this late stage and helping the team get into full throttle in two races at the end of this month.”
