Jamahal Hill has not seen Jan Blachowicz, who is working on Carlos Ulberg at UFC Fight Night 255, achieves too much success.
Former champion Bracowicz (29-10-1 MMA, 12-7-1 UFC) will meet Rising Heavyweight competitor Ulberg (12-1 MMA, 7-1 UFC) in the joint main event at O2 (ESPN+) on Saturday.
Blachowicz defeated Ulberg’s City Kickboxing teammate Israel Adesanya at UFC 259 using his wrestling. However, Hill is sure Ulberg’s takedown defense will withstand.
“I don’t think Yang would just come in and bully Ulberg on the ground,” Hill said on his YouTube channel. “He does a lot of work and I think he has shown some good prestige as long as the ground goes.
“I think it’s hard to hold him down – if he can beat him. That’s how Brakovich tries to get closer to it: leg kicks, perhaps bring him to the ground and work from his top position there.
Blachowicz aims for a rebound after a split draw with current UFC light heavyweight champion Magomed Ankalaev, followed by a split decision loss to former Champ Alex Pereira. Meanwhile, Ulberg has been on seven consecutive wins, five of which have finished.
