PARIS — The crowd at Court Suzanne Lendgren responded with a standing ovation when Janik Thinner’s opponent in the third round of the French Open finally won the match on Saturday. The Sinner was so good on this day that he extended his Grand Slam winning streak to 17 matches, much like the first place guy.

The sinner dominated Giri Lehecka 6-0, 6-1, 6-2, 6-1, 6-2 in 1 hour, 34 minutes, 6-1, 6-2, this year was Roland Garos’ fastest men’s match, measured in lost games and the most biased victory in the major tournaments of the sinner’s career.

“We’re trying to improve,” Thinner said. “I don’t think there’s much to improve today.”

He can say it again.

Sinner delivered 31 winners, with only nine forced errors. He accumulated 18 breakpoints, converted 7, and faced only one.

The first 11 games went down the path of a sinner. When the sinner missed a wide return after 55 minutes of action, when the sinner missed out on a wide return, Lehecca lifted his arm and pumped his fist with a slightly ironic celebration. The fans went wild, rising from their seats, clapping and screaming, and eliciting a smile from Lehecca.

However, there is no mistake. Lehecka is also not a run. The Czech 23-year-old was ranked 34th and was a quarter-finalist in the Grand Slam.

However, he was completely overmatched by the sinners who won two major championships in the past – held at the Australian Open in January at the US Open in September and is currently the owner of the unbeaten run in the most important tournament of the sport, held only by the trio by the names of Novak Do Djokovic, Roger Fehl Nadal and Rafuer Nadal.

Thinner’s first French open title and overall bid for the fourth slam trophy follows Monday, facing 17th place Andreil Brev in the quarterfinals. Rublev advanced when his opponent, No. 14 Arthur Fils, withdrew from the tournament due to a stress fracture in his lower back.

Ethan Quinn, the 2023 NCAA champion for Georgia, played the second consecutive five-setter, beaten to Talon Greekspool 4-6, 6-1, 6-7(2), 6-1, 6-4 in the Netherlands. Greikspoor went from 0 to 4 days in the third round match at Majors.
