Miami – When people need heroes, Jansilva says he is their man.
Silva (16-2 MMA, 5-0) wasn’t just for the highly anticipated UFC 314 showdown with Bryce Mitchell UFC) Win and he ruled. Midway through round two, he defeated Mitchell (17-3 MMA, 8-3 UFC) in his own game with the submission of Ninja Chalk.
“I’m sure I’m a hero to people right now,” Silva told MMA Junkie and other reporters at a postwar press conference. “If they need them, Jean “Lord” Silva is here. ”
The three-round featherweight match attracted a lot of attention as Bryce Mitchell’s podcast comment praised Adolf Hitler. Silva, like most people who heard the comments, had problems with them.
However, the nature of Silva’s winning properties seemed to be amazed even by some of his biggest supporters. Mitchell is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, which has only been submitted previously.
“Listen, will I win with submission? Anyone can bet on me. If you bet on me, put it in my pocket. I want to make money too. Do you want to bet on me?… I really didn’t know that.
His victory allowed Silva to continue the momentum of a burgeoning combat nerd team, including Caio Borralho, Carlos Prates and Mauricio Ruffy. Silva said that despite her head turning nearer each month, the best hasn’t come yet.
“We’ve been on many different paths to victory,” Silva said. “There were some things that included knockouts. There were others who had submissions. In fact, there were some damage. But it wasn’t interesting because there were all these different routes to victory. I’m used to this.”
