Former Dallas Mavericks assistant coach Jared Dudley sent a message after leaving the Dallas Mavericks to join the Denver Nuggets.
After his NBA career, Jared Dudley joined the Dallas Mavericks under Jason Kidd.
He is a role player for the La Lakers team that won the ring in the bubble, and before he retired in 2021 he also had stints for teams like the Phoenix Suns and Brooklyn Net.
With the Mavericks, he coached Luka Donsic, Tim Hardaway Jr., Daniel Gafford and others, helping the franchise reach the NBA Finals in 2024.
After a four-year tenure at Mavs, Dudley secured a job as assistant to David Adelman in Denver, but sent a message to several people before leaving.
Kidd’s coaching staff recently saw the arrival of former Lakers coach Frank Vogel.
It was then announced that Dudley could be on his way to him after the report had already tied him to several other coaching roles, as he was a very respected person in the NBA.
However, he was greeted by the Denver Nuggets as an assistant under Adelman. Adelman took responsibility for head coaching after leading his team to the second round of the playoffs after Michael Malone fired.
Mavs Star JJ Barea was also roped as an assistant, but Dudley is reportedly one of Adelman’s main assistants.
He gave X a special message and thanked the small number of people in the MAVS organization.

Vogel’s hiring for the Mavericks coaching setup certainly proves to be a major move for the Mavericks.
Not only is he a championship-winning coach, but his ability to build a team that can defend every side makes it difficult to beat the Mavs.
They have players like Anthony Davis, Daniel Gafford and Cooper Flag.
But having a coach like Vogel on your team will be a further boost for these players.
Also joining Kidd’s team is Jay Triano, who has two stints as the NBA head coach.
He was with the Sacramento Kings recently, but was fired in December after Mike Brown was taken out of work.
Both of these coaches add a lot of experience and help Maverick significantly when the game gets tougher.
