The Jeremy Sochan and Jared Vanderbilt incident led to double emissions.
The Los Angeles Lakers had no problems dealing with the San Antonio Spurs, who were plundered in a recent matchup.
Apart from the heroes of Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves, two other players also made the main headlines for the case in the fourth quarter.
Spurs’ Jeremy Sochan snatched his frustration by throwing the ball at Lakers’ Jerred Vanderbilt. Things quickly escalated and were ejected in double.
Considering that Sochan incited the argument, many Lakers fans, who were called out to many Lakers fans, called out the Spurs star. Meanwhile, Vanderbilt was praised for his actions.
After all, he was only defending himself, and even James Worthy and Robert Holly were proud that Vanderbilt had not retreated.
Now Sochan has taken things a step up as the 21-year-old took two-word shots in purple and gold with the official X-handle.
“Rapid FC,” wrote Sochang, taunting the team how easily they seem to be.
Sochan also posted images of the incident where Vand appeared to be bent in front of him, but he was being restrained by officials.
If there is one thing the 2024-25 NBA season has taught fans, it is the fact that the league has denounced players who have been fined numerous times for controversial behaviour in the courts.
Certainly, Vanderbilt pushed Sochan as well, but his actions were a direct result of the Spurs Star’s restlessness later in the game.
In a potential worst-case scenario, Sochan can receive a small suspension, but the best case is to escape with a small fine.
