DULUTH, Ga. — Jerry Kelly won the Mitsubishi Electric Classic in his 13th PGA Tour Champions title on Sunday, defeating Ernie Elles two of his final four holes.
Kelly, 58, was tied up with Else in the round, closing at 5-under 67 and finishing at 20-under 196 with a TPC sugar loaf. He opened at 62 on Friday and shot 67 on Saturday.
Else had the final birding of 68. He opened in rounds 65 and 64.
Stephen Alker was 65 years old and third in 16.
Angel Cabrera scored 68 and finished fourth at 15 under. Vijay Singh continued at 13 after age 70.
