JJ Reddick has picked out Los Angeles Lakers players for praise, despite having little impact on his box score.
The Los Angeles Lakers defeated their four-game winning streak with a big 107-96 victory over the Phoenix Suns. It was a much needed imagination to stop their downward spiral.
Luka Doncic had an incredible game, gaining 33 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists. Austin Reeves also played an incredible game with 28 points, four rebounds and six assists.
Doncic admitted that he had experienced something he had never seen before in his NBA career during the game. The Reaves were impressed with their teammates and shouted about their impact on the team.
It also took Luka to praise Jackson Hayes for returning from injury and dropping 19 points. However, JJ Redick believes that one player who didn’t have the highest numbers deserves a lot of credits.

JJ Redick spoke to reporters after the match and felt good after the victory. He praised many players, especially after such a tough schedule.
When asked to name the outstanding player in the Lakers victory, Reddick was surprisingly named Jordan Goodwin, but he didn’t make a big mark on the box score.
“Don’t judge players based solely on box scores. Jordan Goodwin was incredible tonight, and he had two points and four fouls. He set the tone for us.”
Goodwin had a big impact on the Lakers on the defensive side of the floor, with two big blocks against the Suns. His hustle and energy helped establish the Lakers’ baseline.

Also during the press conference, Redick chose to highlight how special the team’s performance is.
Redick provided some context to their recent predicament and admitted that he was totally impressed with the way the Lakers bouncing off.
“It’s very unusual for a team to return from a trip to the East Coast. The next game will show more energy than the other teams the day after the trip and play harder than the other teams.”
“It’s bad to lose (to Denver). To get us back to early start and become a more difficult team from the start, that’s what I say for me, that’s all about our group.”
The Lakers’ victory remains fifth in the West with a 41-25 record. They are currently only two games back from Nuggets, Grizzly and Rockets.
Once things went well in the next game, the Lakers were able to jump over all these teams and get the second seed back for themselves.
