Portrush, Northern Ireland – The opening championship at Royal Portrush will have its first hole-in-one.

English golfer John Parry’s tee shot at 192 yards No. 13 landed in front of Green, bouncing back several times, and jumping straight into the cup.

Tea had a big celebration, and Parry celebrated him by playing his partner Justin Leonard, the 1997 Open Champion.

Hole-in-one put Parry to 4 under par in the round and 3 under in the tournament.

Parry, 38, is making his second open appearance in 2022, following St. Andrews.
