Jorge Martin provides clue for MotoGP return dates

A clue was given to the race from Jorge Martin, where he was able to return to MotoGP.

MotoGP world champion Jorge Martin has not taken action for almost all of this season through injuries, but is preparing to return to bike for the first time since April.

Malolkan was injured only a few laps on the first day of the first Test of the preseason in Malaysia. Prior to his return to his planned action in the first round of 2025 in Thailand, Martin crashed in training and suffered more injuries than he kept him out until April.

He was then finally able to return to Qatar, where Martin crashed at the Grand Prix and was attacked by Fabio di Giannantonio sliding along the track. He broke a rib in the crash, suffered from air pressure and was stuck in Qatar for several days of the race.

Almost three months later, Martin plans to finally return to the Aprilia RS-GP, but a recent medical checkup has left him out of his next race in Germany.

As a result, Martin could return a week later at the Czech Grand Prix on July 18th to 20th.

This marks MotoGP’s first visit to the BRNO circuit since 2020, when Martin himself raced Moto2’s Red Bull KTM Ajo team.

As a result, it will be a learning weekend for most riders in the Czech Republic, but for Martin, who has never ridden a Motogup bike and has very limited RS-GP experience, it will be an even more learning weekend.

An Instagram story posted by Martin on July 1 (above) showed that Spanish riders were watching the FP4 session for the 2020 Czech Grand Prix.

Publicly posting his “homework” can also be seen as a sign of the Aprilia Racing rider’s confidence that he can return to the 12th round of the 2025 season.
