Jorge Martin is advised on what he must provide to end the conflict with Aprilia.
Reigning champion Martin has returned from an injury this weekend in the Czech Motogup at BRNO.
However, he has already been caught up in the saga after claiming he had planned to activate the contract clause to leave the maker next year. Aprilia warned that they would fight the issue in court.
Martin faced media at a special press conference on Thursday, and after claiming he would make a U-turn and stay with Aprilia in 2026, he is likely to clarify his latest stance.
However, Martin remembers that there is only one way to entrust disagreement to history.

“That’s the result,” Peter McLaren told the Crash MotoGP podcast. “If Martin wins the race, everything is forgiven, forgotten, no one cares, but he has to do it.
“If you win in MotoGP, you can get away with a lot.
“He’s in a situation he needs, and Aprilia has shown that they have a competitive bike.
“He now needs to bring his side by the end of the year, not Brno – “I can win with this bike, this is why you signed me.”
“He needs to show it more than ever. The whole situation feels unnecessary, but it’s not great for him.
“He needs to provide more than ever.”
Jorge Martin has been suffering from injuries ever since winning the 2024 MotoGP title at Pramac Ducati.
However, he recently tested his Aprilia. As part of the new rules, we allowed injured riders to allow lap times before racing again.
During his time, teammate Marco Betzekki won the British Motogup and won the podium at Assen, leading the development of the package.
“There are a lot of bridge buildings,” Peter McLaren said of Martin and Aprilia.
“Looking back to years to come, “The reigning champion wanted to leave Ducati and go to the second best maker and leave before he could race a handful.
“That doesn’t make sense.”
Jorge Martin needs to “swallow his pride”

Jorge Martin
Martin reminded him that due to his own political rage he faces a difficult comeback.
“In a way, it’s a victory for Aprilia. But they have riders who don’t want to be there and will sign the 2027 deal as soon as possible.
“Unless something dramatic happens, he (he sees) Priilia is great and he managed to win the championship with it.
“They have to put this behind them. Martin in particular has to put it behind him and say, “I’m here, I’ll go for it…”…”
“It’s a long process to get to a place where everything is in harmony.
“I don’t think this is a settlement, it’s a defeat for Martin.
“He has to swallow his pride and ride Aprilia as hard as he can, take the risk and show respect to the makers as he is.
“That leaves the door open to say, “He’s not pushing, he wants to race for Honda,” if the outcome is not good for the next year and half.
“He put himself in an unpleasant situation that made him perfectly. He made a bet and lost it.
“The next few years define his career as a world champion. If he can’t find results on this bike, if he goes elsewhere and finds results, his career footnote would be “to be wiped out by acting like he’s not used to being a world champion.”
