The New York Knicks will come this season with championship aspirations.
The Knicks were eliminated in the 2025 Eastern Conference Finals by the Indiana Pacers in six games, failing to make their first NBA Finals since 1999.
However, the Knicks were loaded this summer and added some nice depth pieces to Jordan Clarkson, Gershon Yabucele and Malcolm Broddon.
With the Pacers and Boston Celtics expected to take a step back this season, the Knicks are considered one of their favorites to break out of the Eastern Conference next year.
Josh Hart said on Knicks Media’s Day he reorganized the proper finger injury that had been in June.
However, he plans to play the entire season without solving problems until the next offseason.
Hart corrected an injury that took place on July 16th with his right ring finger and was injured during the Knicks playoff run.
Hart also didn’t answer when asked if the surgery was off the table before next summer to fix the issue.
The Knicks need Hart to be in top condition if they want to make a long playoff run.
The Knicks have little room for error this season, and the widespread Eastern Conference is expected to play the NBA Finals.
New York’s biggest challenger is the Cleveland Cavaliers, but looking at the Knicks’ starting lineup and depth, many hope for a Knicks’ chance in that potential showdown.
After the Knicks made head coaching changes by bringing in Mike Brown, the Knicks have everything they need to reach the NBA Finals. Now they have to go out there and prove that they can do it.
