Newcastle United is being given the opportunity to sign Juventus Serb striker Dusan Vlahovich, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.
The attackers scored 17 goals for the Serie A Giants Juventus in all competitions last season.
The Italian giant is open to moving forward the 25-year-old forward of this window after securing Jonathan David from the reel, offering his name to European clubs, including Newcastle.
According to Italian sources, Juventus shows that Newcastle considers Vlahovic as a potential alternative if he loses Alexander Isaac, who is heavily associated with Liverpool.
Newcastle United provided the opportunity to sign Dusan Vlahovic
Bianconeri is willing to accept regional bids of 30 million euros, a figure designed to ease Vlahovic’s departure and reduce club wage bills.
His contract makes him one of Juve’s finest earners, and the club is eager to readjust his finances upon David’s arrival.
Despite the proposal, Jacobs reports that Newcastle has no plans to move forward with negotiations at this stage. It is also unclear whether Vlahovich himself is interested in switching to St. James Park.
The player’s talent is undoubtedly, but he was once considered one of Europe’s most exciting strikers, but Turin’s injuries and contradictions are ready to listen to Juventus.
The striker was previously linked to a move to Manchester United.
Magpies focus on other transfer targets
In Newcastle, attention remains fixed to other targets. Magpies maintain strong interest in Brentford’s Joan Wissa, which has emerged as a priority option for attacks.
Additionally, Newcastle is preparing a second bid for wolf forward Jorgenstrandlersen, despite claiming that the Norwegian striker is not on sale.
Eddie Howe and the recruitment team consider both Wissa and Larsen as top targets.
Unless the situation around ISAK changes dramatically or Juventus changes the conditions significantly, the Serb striker move is unlikely to happen.
Isaac decided on Liverpool’s move after meeting Newcastle’s owner yesterday.
