Justin Gauché claims he defeated Georges Saint-Pierre, a former UFC Hall of Fame
Considered one of the most exciting fighters in all of the combat sports, Gaethje has a long and renowned career within the Octagon, going all the way to his toes with fellow superstars such as Eddie Alvarez, Dustin Poilier, Charles Oliveira, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Michael Chandler and Max Holloway.
After all, one of Gaethje’s biggest claims to fame may have come long before he competed for the UFC.
“I was in college, wrestling,” Gaethje said when he appeared on Hotwash by Born Primitive Tactical. “They brought some UFC fighters and I beat them. George Saint-Pierre, I dropped him off when I was probably 18, and he was a champion at the time. I was a huge fan of the sport. We went to the Buffalo Wild Wings.

Will Justin Getteje become the first fighter to challenge the new lightweight king Ilia Topria?
Gaeche, who won an impressive unanimous decision victory over Rafael Fiziev in March, has yet to book a return to the octagon. Reports say the “highlights” focus on getting another crack at the elusive UFC lightweight championship.
Recent rumors suggest that Gaethje can get a very good shot against the newly minted 155 pound King Ilia Topuria at UFC 322. Gaethje’s manager Ali Abdelaziz falls into rumours during the appearance of Submission Radio, offering ideas about how things can potentially play between “El Matador” and his clients.
“It’s a car accident (fighting),” Abderaziz said. “Anyone who lands first is going to fall asleep. This is my opinion. I think Topria might try to wrestlend Justin. I think Justin Gesche is too dangerous to just stand in front of a punch and throw it.
“Justin is a very powerful striker and he’s extremely dangerous. Honestly, it’s one of the best fights you can do in the UFC.”
