Kareem Abdul-Jabbar held the NBA’s highest score record ever for 38 years.
However, on February 7, 2023, Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James finally broke Kareem Abdul Jaber’s highest scorer ever.
Despite having lots of amazing admiration for his name, breaking Abdul Jabbar’s record is considered one of James’ greatest accomplishments.
Abdul Jabber recently appeared on the Jennifer Hudson Show. There, the legendary center gave many revelations.
It includes his true feelings of James surpassing the 38-year-old NBA record.
“LeBron won it, he’s working hard. I mean more power for him. I didn’t really play to deal with the records,” Abdul Jabbar said.
He added: “I wanted to lead my team to the championship. I was lucky enough to be able to participate in the winning team six times, and I made the MVP final twice. I’m happy with that.”
Winning the NBA Championship is undoubtedly an incredible feat. So it appears that Abduryabal appreciates the six rings more than he is the league’s highest scorer leader in history.
Averaging 27.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 7.4 assists per game for 22 years seems like a Hercules task. But that’s what James did when he was equipped in his 23rd year in the NBA.
The six-fold NBA champion has returned to Kareem, who rated the winning title, but it doesn’t mean he doesn’t realize what James has done over the past 20 years.
“You can’t have it all for too long. The record was broken and there was more power for LeBron. I hope he enjoys it.
“He has an incredible career. He’s doing incredible things from court, from court, from court, from court, he sent the entire school district to university,” continued Abdul Jabbar.
James destroys the enemy in the court, but Kazi loves the kindness of the 40-year-old from the court.
“And in court, he’s crushed everyone for 20 years, so he deserves it and hopes he enjoys it,” concluded Abdul Jabbar.
