Kahwi Leonard has picked out his Clippers teammates who will help him stay in harmony with the other teams on the defensive end.
The LA Clippers defeated the Denver Nuggets in Game 3 of the first round series. The Clippers won their first playoff victory at the Intuit Dome.
Kauhi Leonard was sensational and lost 21 points and 11 rebounds to win. Leonard’s impact on the game was similar to Chris Brussard’s recent point, Nicola Jokic.
James Harden recently called Kauhi Leonard the murderer. And considering how he played tonight, it’s hard to disagree with that rating.
However, Leonard believed that his Clippers teammates in particular helped them get locked up at both ends of the court, particularly defensively.

After the game, Cowhileonard praised the remaining LA Clippers roster for focusing on the court’s defensive side.
He feels motivated by the hunger that the whole team shows, rather than taking defensive responsibility himself, and Chris Dunn in particular sets his example.
“There are people on the floor who want to be protected. They’re not just asking me to protect… They motivate me defensively, especially Chris Dunn.”
Chris Dunn has been praised by analysts across the NBA for being one of the underrated signatures this season. And given the impact he is having on the court, he should be considered a key star of the Clippers.

It’s not just the Clippers have taken on the Nuggets tonight to get a 2-1 lead. It is the nature of victory that many believe the series is over.
The Clippers scored 34 points, one of the biggest wins they’ve ever seen in the playoffs.
The Nuggets look like deshaved mess on the basketball court, but the Clippers look like an oiled machine with a deep roster.
At this point, the Clippers could be the second best team in the Western Conference. And if things continue as they are, they may have the opportunity to play against the Oklahoma City Thunder in the appetizing second round series.
