Kendrick Perkins praised the OKC Thunder player after an incredible performance in Game 4 with the Denver Nuggets.
After falling into the series, the OKC Thunder needed a big response in Game 4, giving them the opportunity to turn things around.
In the first half of scoring, the Thunder went from a 3-11 range and scored only 45 points.
NBA fans also responded to Jalen Williams’ poor performance as he only had nine points after a big night in Game 3.
At one point in the third quarter, the Denver Nuggets took a six-point lead in the game, but the Young Thunder team showed resilience and pulled things back into the fourth quarter.
Thunder was the only starter to finish filming in games from across the ARC, with Lu Dort being the only starter to score a 3-pointer.
But the bench players filmed an incredible job. Cason Wallace in particular deepened all three of his attempts in a 92-87 victory at Thunder.
His performance helped him earn praise from former Thunder player Kendrick Perkins.
Wallace played a total of 22:34 minutes and finished the night with 11 points, five boards and two steels.
He was also great on the defensive side, with +11 in Game 4, but only behind Aaron Wiggins, who came out of the bench.
Wallace also did an amazing job without fouling after getting caught up in foul trouble before the clutch era.
Perkins, a big admirer of the Thunder Team, had tweeted to X during the game, one of them was for Wallace.
He tweeted: “I really like this young man, Cathon Wallace. He’s a Pitbull.”
Shy Gilgaus Alexander led the Thunder scoring with 25 points with 42% shooting from the field.
The other starters weren’t past 10 points, but despite this, the team managed to get the victory.
This was due to the great work Thunderbench did in the evening.
Three players came out of the bench and scored in double digits to support the team on a large scale.
Of the 10 horses created by Thunder, eight were from bench players.

Sofa Score’s Momentum Graphic shows how OKC led for most of Game 4 with Denver taking a momentary lead at the end of the third before Thunder regained the advantage.
The Nuggets also missed 10 free throws, proven important in a tight game, with OKC only being lost six times.
This was a performance in particular where Jalen Williams shot 2-13 and the entire team had to step up.
Alex Caruso, Aaron Wiggins, Wallace and others all contributed to the playoff challenges and gave great performances for the team.
The teams are young, but they have the talent they need to perform on a big stage, which is what they see in the playoffs.
Perkins called out lightning players early in the series due to their lack of aggression.
That issue hasn’t been resolved, but I’m pleased that the series will enter Game 5 2-2 at Paycom Center.
