Nikola Jokic had a great performance in the game between the Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Clippers. The Clippers had no answer for Jokic’s 55-point performance, but the big man was an impressive 18-of-23 from the field and had 12 rebounds and six assists.
Jokic had 52 points before the start of the fourth quarter, and had a good chance of another triple-double if the game hadn’t been a blowout.

Jokic continues to be an absolute tearjerker, displaying dominant offensive play, elite playmaking, and efficiency.
Jokic is putting up these epic numbers on a daily basis and people are starting to take him for granted.
Jokic’s MVP claim was quickly re-established after his recent impressive stretch.
Jokic is having the best playmaking season of his career, leading the league in assists (10.9) and leading the NBA in triple-doubles (5).
Kendrick Perkins talked about how great Jokic is and how he shows Hakeem Olajuwon’s game on a regular basis.
“He’s making Olajuwon’s great games look like normal games and he’s putting up numbers.
“He’s the most skilled player to ever play this game.
“I’m not mad at Ty Lue’s game plan because Zubac is one of the best post defenders in the game and has been guarding Jokic, one of the best post defenders in the entire league for the past year and a half.
“But what happened is, last night we saw something amazing.
“We saw a guy come into the arena with just back-to-back appearances and play against one of the most elite defenders in the league in that post position and give him the job.”
Not only is Jokic putting up numbers in video games, he’s also helped the Nuggets get off to a strong start this season.

The Nuggets sit in second place in the Western Conference with a 9-2 record and have the conference’s longest active winning streak at six games.
The Oklahoma City Thunder looked unstoppable, but Jokic and the Nuggets led the Thunder to seven games in the playoffs last season.
If Jokic and this version of the Nuggets continue to play like this, they could realistically dethrone the almighty Thunder.
