Kevin Durant interacts with NBA fans on X over his legacy.
Kevin Durant, who joined the Golden State Warriors in 2016, changed many NBA heritage. KD has undoubtedly become the NBA’s most hated basketball player in his three-year stint with the Dub.
However, Durant’s quest for the super team didn’t end there as he continued to join Kyrie Irving and Brooklynnette.
James Harden later joined the net and formed the Elite Big 3. However, he collaborated with Durant. Performance was severely degraded during the Net age as the slim Shinigami demanded trade from Brooklyn in the middle of his third season.
Looking back at Durant’s net stint, the organization was undoubtedly on the way to lift the Larry O’Brien Trophy in 2021.
But as we know, the dream was shattered when Durant’s three-pointer shot was called a two-pointer in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference semi-finals. One NBA fan recently regained KD’s memory with X.
“This is all BS for your big a__ toes. You won that championship easily and nobody would have talked about your delicate A__,” NBA fans wrote.
Durant responded immediately: “I think the injury played a bigger factor than my toes, but the toes are sexier.”
For context, Nets Big 3 played just 16 games together. The injury actually ruined what could have been one of the dominant trioes of all time. But up until now, fans have trolled Durant for the infamous toe row shot.
From 2015 to 2018, the Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers faced off in the NBA Finals for four consecutive times. While both sides split the first two matchups, KD joined the dub, certainly preferred scale.
Fans have recently accused Durant of ruining the supposed dynasty in Cleveland, tweeting, “Ah, you bro to ruin what was Cleveland’s dynasty.”
As expected, Durant returned to the fans to applause. “I’m happy every morning that it didn’t happen.”
A few fans have returned to their previous NBA MVP, but he simply let them tease them by insisting that history will not change, regardless of how much they want it.
