Giannis Antetokounmpo has won many glories with the Milwaukee Bucks, including the championship.

After Kareem Abdul Jabber helped the city of Milwaukee win its first championship in 1971, the Bucks were in a tough spot for years.

However, Giannis Antetokounmpo has finished a long 50-year wait that helped the Milwaukee Bucks win the championship in 2021.

Since winning his first ring, Antetokounmpo has not had much success in the playoffs, winning one playoff series in the past four years.

Stephen A. Smith discussed her legacy at ESPN and said that if Antetokounmpo ends his career without another championship, he will become an underasher, but Kevin Durant made the exception to that statement.

Despite losing in the early playoff rounds over the past few years, Antetokounmpo’s performance never took a dip and he continues to perform at a high level.

After losing this year’s playoffs, it was reported that the Bucks were considering other options due to their ability to put teams around him, including the championship.

But talk about his potential moves has settled down, with the Bucks asking questions about the roster for next season, but the two-time MVP hopes to stay in Milwaukee.

Talking about Antetokounmpo and his legacy on ESPN’s first take, Stephen A. Smith made interesting comments about his career.

“Insufficient, I’m going to tell you why,” Smith said when asked about the term used to describe Antetocomo’s career.

“He is one of the best players to play the game, and he has been playing at least 200 games over the past four years, second in the league, 30.4 points per game, fifth in the league, 11.7 RPG, 58% from the field, nine All-NBA selections of his career, nine All-Star selections, nine All-Star selections, nine All-Star selections, and top 10 selections in MVP options that is unacceptable.

“I’m not referring to him or anything he isn’t doing anyway. I’m saying. You see such a fire in his belly to compete with such a great person on a night out, and all you have is one championship to show for it,” Smith added.

.@StephenasmithA word explaining Giannis’ career if he doesn’t win another championship, Underachiever. 😯

Durant and Antetokounmpo have been rivals for several years, but both respect each other’s games.

Smith’s comments received backlash from many people, and Durant was also one of them who commented on a post from X’s comments, where Smith criticized his take.

KD commented: “The game has been ruined,” says ESPN’s biggest figure once again pushing the story of the championship being more important than anything else.

Antetokounmpo and Durant are actively involved in trade consultations with teams around the league.

The former is likely to remain with the Bucks, but KD is expected to leave the Phoenix Suns soon.

They may face each other many times in the future, but it is known that KD always took the position of Antetokounmpo when questions were raised about his legacy.
