Paulo Costa has a business with Kamza Chimaev and doesn’t care if it’s handled in the octagon or the street.
On August 16th, “Bors” finally gets the opportunity to have the long-awaited title when he meets governing middleweight champion Doricus Duplesis at UFC 319 in Chicago.
As it stands, Chimeh is a 2-for-1 favorite, leaving Chiutown with a 185-pound crown wrapped around his waist. However, wins and losses, “Eraser” plans to fight some form of undefeated Chechnya monsters.
“If Camusat retires after losing, I’ll find him somewhere to fix my business, maybe a restaurant or car park,” Costa told Submission Radio. “This is personal.”
Khamzat Chimaev responds to Costa’s UFC 318 Callout
The Costa issue with Chimaev comes from the incident in which “Bors” sent a DM to his longtime Brazilian girlfriend. Following his vintage performance with Romakopirov at UFC 318, Costa used a postwar interview to slightly appeal to Chimaev.
“Everyone knows I hate that guy, everyone knows M****** Chimaev,” Costa said.
“He’s a big a**** and my wife is here, he des her. This is not good, this is a bad thing. But he never sent me, because he’s a coward.
It didn’t take long for Chimaev to return to Costa on social media.
“It was her who wrote me the Habibi (lol),” Chimaev wrote to X.
Costa’s victory over Koparov now sits in the 11th place candidate, rising two spots in the middleweight rankings. Chimaev is the third competitor to enter his first title tilt.
