SHARE

Khamzat Chimaev’s next fight is generating a lot of talk. Rumors suggest that he is set to face Dricus du Plessis for the middleweight title. Chimaev’s best friend, Rasul Chamzuudinov, recently spilled some exciting details on the Tiktok live stream, claiming that Chimev had already signed the match and was waiting for them to confirm the date.

Khamzat Chimaev’s Next Battle

This fight is expected to share the same card as another giant title match. Islamic Makhachev defends his lightweight belt against Ilia Topria. Chamsoudinov hints that both fights could take place as early as June, and could become the UFC’s biggest event in Khamzat Chimaev’s next fight.

For those who may not know, Dricus du Plessis is a South African MMA sensation currently hosting the UFC Middleweight Championship. He is the first South African to win a UFC title and is renowned for his balanced skills in judo, wrestling and kickboxing. Du Plessis has an impressive run in the UFC, defeating notable enemies like Sean Strickland and Israel Adesanya.

Meanwhile, “Borz” Khamzat Chimaev is an undefeated fighter who competes in the middleweight division. He was a three-time Swedish national wrestling champion and made waves in the UFC with his dominant performance known for his incredible grappling skills and offensive fighting style. Khamzat Chimaev’s next fight is looking for a middleweight title.

The potential battle between Chimaev and Duplesis is highly anticipated as they strike two middleweights with each other at the best. Facing both fighters, Robert Whitaker believes that Chimaev’s best chance of victory is to finish the fight early, as Duplesis tends to tire his enemies over time.

Meanwhile, other title matches on the card, Islamic Makhachev vs Ilia Topria, promises to be a clash of style. Makhachev, the current UFC lightweight champion with a wrestling background, has been recognized by Georgia’s Spanish fighter Topuria for his impressive knockout power.

If these fights happen as planned, they will definitely create an incredible event and bring together some of the most talented fighters in the UFC today. This could be one of the most exciting cards of the year, so fans are eagerly waiting to confirm the date. The stakes are high and expectations are built as Chimaev’s undefeated record is on the line and Du Plessis aims to defend his title.
