Manager Dave Roberts told reporters he hopes the team is not something Mookie Betts has handled over the past two weeks.
However, Roberts said that if Hernandez got sick from Betts, the believe it “will have happened earlier.” He also added that others have been dealing with “sniffles and things like that” recently.
Roberts doesn’t know if Hernandez will be with the ballpark team for the opening day.

The hope that Hernandez doesn’t deal with the same thing. The will need to increase the latest on Hernandez on Friday, but hopefully the utility guys can return to the lineup sooner than later.
Hernández appeared in the Tokyo series in both games, making it 8-1 on a three-run home run.
