King Echop Our Sellif Hebsan Wibile 50
Ryosakai is 5’11” (180cm). King Edukpolo is 6’8” (204cm), about 260 pounds.
In the first round, King Edukpolo effectively used his long reach to keep Sakai at bay with front kicks and precise remote control. Despite Sakaji’s aggressive approach, including low kicks and close range hooks, Edukpolo maintained his composure to use his arm block to neutralize the attack. Sakai secured a takedown late in the round and moved to side control, delivering hammer fist and knees, but Edukpolo’s defense was solid.
In the second round, Sakai came out swinging on the hook and successfully clinched for another takedown. He attempted a north-south chalk on the ground, but King Edkpolo used a rope to reverse positions and turn the table.
Acquiring the dominant mount position, Edukpolo unleashed a barrage of ground and pound strikes. As Sakai could not effectively defend himself and turn away, the judge stopped the fight at 2:32 in Round 2 and awarded Edukpolo the victory of TKO.
The match also highlighted the harsh physical contrast between the two fighters. Edokpolo’s towering frame and long reach were crucial in determining the pace of the fight and continuing to restrain Sakai’s attacks. Despite his victory, Edokpolo humbly apologized for what he described in his postwar comments as a “unshiny” performance, and vowed to improve future matches.
This victory further establishes King Edukpolo as a terrifying presence in Lysin’s heavyweight division. The Rizin 50 is freely available on Rizin TV.
