Kyle Kuzma tried to explain his disastrous game to launch the NBA playoffs.
The Milwaukee Bucks were the most informed team in the Eastern Conference, finishing the season with eight straight wins.
This was counted for anything in their opening game, with the Indiana Pacers suffering a 117-98 loss.
Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 36 for $1, but teammate Kyle Kuzma was in a complete disaster and scored 0 points.
Bucks fans were furious at Kuzma’s performance. This made him no rebounds or assists.
The Doc Rivers head coach spoke to boost Kyle Kuzma’s qualification following his nightmare performance and suggested he needs to do a better job of scoring.
Kuzma spoke in the locker room after the match and, despite his game revealed, deserves praise from the media.
After hinting that he is suffering from the knocks of the game, Kuzma asserts that he is ready for Game 2 and believes he must be more aggressive.
Realizing that the game didn’t work, Kuzma said he felt he had learned something during the opener against Pacer.
He said: “I just understand what I need to do. You know, you can’t wait for the ball, you can’t wait for things to happen.
“So find yourself and take action on your own rebound.
“It definitely smells, but it’s a long series of seven games. I’m excited to play it because I understand a bit of what I need to do to attack the next game.”
The Milwaukee Bucks may be on the verge of Damian Lillard on the verge of returning, with major support from Game 2.
ESPN Report Lillard could potentially return in either Game 2 or 3, depending on whether he is allowed to play after a clot.
Lillard’s Return would certainly open up more freedom for Kuzma. The Pacers had to plan to stop both Lillard and Giannis.
However, even if Lillard isn’t back in Game 2, we can predict that Kuzma can confidently improve his 0-0-0 show at the opener.
