Luka Doncic’s recent body transformation attracted comments from around the NBA community.
After all, for the majority of the 2024-25 NBA season, Luka Donsic was ridiculed for not being at the peak of his career.
Well, Donsic has made some sacrifices, but he has finally reached the stage where the rest of the league should be worried about thrustting the bear next season.
Speaking of Donsic’s transformation, Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green recently shared two cents on the same cent.
Statistically, Donsic scored the worst season of his NBA career in the rookie year, averaging 21.2 points, 7.8 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game for the Dallas Mavericks.
However, most fans now remember Don Sic’s newcomer years with his lean build, as the La Lakers star has gained weight over the years.
Now, in light of Donsic’s amazing transformation, Green believes the 26-year-old star is back to his rookie year shape.
“Luka looks like a rookie Luka. This trade has created that hunger again! It’s also the perfect year to win his first MVP award,” Green told Instagram (H/T Legion Hoops).
Despite being on Don Sic’s rival team, Greene didn’t shy away from dropping massive praise on the Lakers Star, but supported him to win the 2026 NBA MVP Award.
As expected, Green’s statement about Donsic went viral on social media. The Lakers fanbase saw subtle meaning behind the 4x NBA champions who praise Don Sic.
“Dray Laker?” asked one fan. Another was added, “Luke’s hunger is real, but Draymond knows what’s going on!”
“Draymond joins LeBron and Luka,” a third fan announced.
“That’s why Dray, come to LA, goat,” said the fourth fan.
“Draymond wants to be a secret laker,” another fan pointed out.
Green has always had an opinion or two about the Lakers in recent years. He even spoke about the beginning of a new era after the acquisition of Mark Walter.
But so far, Green hasn’t dropped the hint that he will leave the Warriors for the opportunity to play alongside the purple and gold Donsic.
