La Lakers’ latest signature Jordan Goodwin scored eight points for the Chicago Bulls in the team’s 117-119 defeat.
The 26-year-old was signed a full-time deal with Purple and Gold after impressing his team with his performance on a two-way contract. The team tinted the cam reddish to create space.
He averages 6.5 ppg with 48% shooting from the field and 42.9% from the 3-point arc.
Jordan Goodwin’s recent performance, along with Showtime legend James Worthy, helped him gain a lot of gratitude from La Lakers fans.
Previously, he spent time with the Washington Wizard, the Memphis Grizzlies and the Phoenix Suns, but he was able to really show his game with the Lakers.
And his performance with the Chicago Bulls in a dramatic game impressed Lakers fans and convinced them that the team had made the right decision.
Following the Lakers’ games before and after in Chicago, fans took part in social media to express their opinions on Goodwin’s performance.
One fan said:
Another added, “Someone ruined a big time, but there’s no way Jordan Goodwin wasn’t on the NBA roster.”
Fans also escaped that Goodwin was the perfect alternative to Max Christie.
He states: “It was a victory that the Lakers found Jordan Goodwin after losing Max. We’re happy he’s on a standard contract now.”
Another comment states: “Jordan Goodwin will be very key to this team in the playoffs.
Another said, “Every team needs Jordang Goodwin.”
Another fan wrote:
Goodwin provides the Lakers with much needed solidity in their security position.
Luka Doncic certainly brings a lot of offensive glow, but he sometimes takes responsibility on the defensive side. So having Goodwin solves some problems for the Lakers.
His ability to defend multiple positions contributes to the bucket and at the same time makes him an asset to the team.
With Max Christie and Cam Reddish gone, Goodwin also contributes to the depth of his roster.
He has been trusted by the team in some tough situations, but that happened because Goodwin proved his abilities and became the key to the team in the playoff runs.
