The Los Angeles Lakers beat the New Orleans Pelicans, but they rarely alleviated the worries of fans heading into the playoffs.
The Los Angeles Lakers bounced back from their defeat against the Warriors. In the second row, they defeated the Pelicans of New Orleans.
Honestly, the Pelicans gave them a much tougher fight than they expected. The Pelicans are tanking teams, with most of their key players on the bench for the rest of the season.
Luka Doncic scored 35 points for a clearly terrifying performance against the Warriors. The trio of Luka, LeBron James and Austin Reeves combined 92 of the Lakers’ 124 points in the evening.
However, despite the victory and the Lakers regained their third seed over the Nuggets, their fans are not happy with their team’s play.

After the victory, Lakers fans took them to X to share their emotions on the team’s show. Regardless of the victory, fans were not satisfied with the team’s play.
One fan wrote, “They’ve only got 16 more people in the Pelicans without Zion. They’ll probably have no momentum in the playoffs.”
Another deplorable “The Lakers should blow the Pelicans of the G-League.” Obviously there is a lot of frustration among the fans.
“I’m not hyperbolic when I say that a Pelican that I’ve never heard of is sinking three people,” Lakers fans complained.
LeBron James received some criticism, saying, “King James will be playing Harlem Globetrotters against the Pelican backup, with flashy passes and unnecessary showboating…”
Not everyone was pessimistic. One fan celebrated the Big Three by saying, “We combined LeBron, Luca and AR with 92 points! Tonight! I can’t stop!”
“How the Lakers played tonight, especially in the second half, is how they have to play tonight to get to the ceiling this season. We have to show consistency against OKC and do that at least once,” said a fan who demanded better from his team.

The Los Angeles Lakers don’t make a relaxed end to the season. The next five games will play the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Mavericks, the Rocket and the Trail Blazers twice.
Three of the five games played against the top two Western teams. If the Lakers want an opportunity to secure a third seed, they will need to win at least two of those games.
LeBron James and Luka Donsic must deliver the item. But more importantly, they must learn to thrive together.
The Lakers currently rank third in the West with a 47-30 record. If they win four of the last five games, they can secure a third seed and give them a real chance in the playoffs.
