Los Angeles Lakers fans were happy to see Luka Donsic’s fiancé cook healthy food, as concerns remained about the conditioning of the Slovenians.
Doncic’s partner Anamaria Goltes shared photos of the vegetable-based lace dishes he sent Laker Fans to Wild on social media on Instagram.
Famous purple and gold advocates are well aware of Don Sic’s story surrounding weight, conditioning and nutrition, revealing an X (formerly Twitter) post.

After the Lakers finished the playoffs for the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round, manager JJ Redick told reporters that he needed a roster to “in the form of a championship” this offseason.
Redick didn’t particularly mention the name, but many think this is an indirect swipe in Doncic.

Concerns about Mavericks’ Doncic conditioning began in 2020. When the 2020-21 NBA season began following the Covid-19 pandemic, Don Sic showed up at a significantly heavier training camp earlier this year during the playoffs.
He admitted himself: “That’s true, I’m not my best form. I’ll definitely get there. But you know, I wasn’t a muscular guy, so what can I say?”
Television analysts such as TNT’s Reggie Miller began commenting on his shape, commenting that it was the heaviest he’d seen Don Sic’s appearance, and Kevin Harlan pointed out that he was significantly exhausted in court.
In response, Donsic said: “I know I have to do better. I spent a long summer and then I relaxed a little.”
Before the 2023-24 season, The New York Times reported that key figures for the Mavericks franchise told Don Sic about reducing his preferred playweight.
He impressed fans with his physique in the campaign build, leading Dallas to the Western Conference Championship, and ultimately lost to the Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals.

The 26-year-old couldn’t find consistency in the department and eventually returned to bad habits.
At the beginning of the 2025-26 season, Donsic missed five games with what the team described as a sprain on his right wrist, but it was actually supposed to be a holiday to improve his conditioning.
The Mavericks were well aware that players liked to raise their legs in the offseason and eat and drink what they liked.
ESPN’s Tim McMahon, a shocking move that shook the world after Doncic was traded for the Lakers in February, reported that Dallas is extremely concerned about moving forward with him due to certain conditioning issues and the looming commitment of another Super Max contract extension.
Mavericks GM Nico Harrison believes Doncic’s body will break down faster than anyone else, and he definitely felt it was the right time to move on from a non-generational player.
There must be something serious to do to make such a transaction. Last season, he became the first European to lead the NBA in scoring and already has five All-NBA first-team honors to his name.
Doncic averaged 28.2 points, 8.1 rebounds and 7.5 assists for the Lakers in 28 regular season games, so imagine what he can do at the peak of his strength.
