Lawrence Stroll has vowed to “not give up” until he has achieved his “mission” to make Aston Martin F1 world champions.
Stroll is the owner of the Aston Martin F1 team and led the acquisition of Racing Point in late 2022.
The Canadian was bullish about Aston Martin’s ambitions to be at the forefront of F1.
Aston Martin has invested heavily to upgrade its Silverstone headquarters and expand its facilities.
Stroll also poached some notable talent. Most notably, they signed Adrian Newey from Red Bull.
Additionally, Enrico Caldile was hired from Ferrari to further strengthen the technical department.
Starting next year, Aston Martin will be partnering with Honda, so expectations are high for the team.
He said on the team’s official YouTube channel, “The team as a whole is getting better, and we’re looking forward to next year’s big rule and regulation changes.”
“Another big step is that Honda has become our power unit partner, so being a works team for the first time in your life is a completely different experience.
“The engine is not only delivered as a customer engine, but is designed to be integrated with the power unit.
“So there’s a tremendous amount of excitement going on. I’m relentless. I won’t give up until the mission is completed. In this case, the mission is to be world champion.”
Questions for Aston Martin drivers
Aston Martin will maintain the same driver lineup for the fourth consecutive season in 2026.
Fernando Alonso will remain, along with Lance Stroll.

Fernando Alonso
Alonso has outscored Stroll in the last 31 races in a row, an incredible streak.
Stroll is only a few points behind his teammate in the standings, but there are still question marks over his performance.
As a result, it is difficult to judge Alonso’s performance accurately given the identity of his teammates.
Aston Martin will have to make important decisions over the next 12 months about whether to replace Stroll or, if Alonso decides to take time out on his career, which star driver to target next.
