The Los Angeles Lakers and LeBron James are in a recession right now, and on Monday night, “King James” spoke to the media about where everything is wrong this season.

Lakers and LeBron slump

Monday night’s loss to the Timberwolves is the Lakers’ fifth loss in the last seven games, and it’s clearly causing problems in Los Angeles.

It’s not just the amount of games the Lakers are dropping right now. Joined with LeBron on Monday night. I managed just 80 points at the Target Center. This is the new season low.

LA scored under 100 points in 100 games this season against Minnesota. The other one played OKC in the NBA Cup on Friday.

More concern for Lakers fans is LeBron James’ recent league performance, with the 39-year-old struggling to start 2024.

After losing to Minnesota on Monday, James was asked by reporters about his recent recession and what he was not going well in court.

“Just for a period, everything,” James said. “I’m just feeling the rhythm.

James scored just 10 points on Monday night, shooting a 4 at 16 from the floor with a season worst performance that made fans worried about the veteran’s longevity.

With a very typical LeBron response, the only way he can get out of his slump, “That’s it.”

“That’s our record.

LeBron is now in his 22nd year in the NBA and will eventually catch up with the veteran, but it’s bold to doubt one of the league’s undeniable goats.

Regardless of LeBron’s form, the 12-9 Lakers are struggling and if they’re going to make this year’s playoffs, things will need to turn faster on JJ Redick’s side.
