The decision dominated the headline in 2010, when LeBron James chose the Miami Heat as his next team. It not only had an impact on his legacy, but it also had an impact on all NBA players who made the major decisions.

LeBron James is undoubtedly the best player in NBA history. He already has a wealth of legacy in the courts, but he also influenced his decision from the courts.

The biggest must be the decision that was infamous TV special in the summer of 2010. James publicly announced his decision to sign the Miami Heat amid interest from multiple teams.

In his second stint with Tyloo of the Cleveland Cavaliers, head coach of the Los Angeles Clippers and former head coach of James, he spoke about James’ influence.

James’ decision to take part in the heat was one of the biggest decisions in NBA history. He struggled to compete for the championship with the Cleveland Cavaliers, so it was fair to leave.

Unfortunately, Cavaliers fans didn’t like his decision, so they burned his jersey. Going to Miami was the right decision for his resume. James won two championships in the heat, but some people felt he was “cheating.”

Cavs planted seeds to get James back. He returned to his home town in Ohio and led the Cavaliers to their first NBA championship. It was James’ red, but he also proved he could control his career and succeed.

James’ championship coach Ty Lue believes James’ decision is more important than people realize.

“He changed the game. He made it, so these guys can go to the team they want to go to,” Lou said at Club Shea Shea.

“He took the first step. He took all the heat to get to this point. Now you see everyone doing it. He paved the road.”

Over his career spanning over 20 years, James solidified himself as the greatest of all time. He even has a legacy comparable to that of Michael Jordan, considered the greatest of all time.

James is enough to stand on Jordanian level, which is a unique distinction. He still has time to add to his never-ending legacy as the greatest of all time.

Not only is James an excellent player on the court, he also influenced it. For players these days, taking autonomy over their careers is a big deal, but it might not have happened without James’ pioneering approach.

Kevin Durant set off for the Golden State Warriors, but if James hadn’t left Cleveland he could have stayed in the Oklahoma City Thunder.

This legacy stands the test of time and James remains one of the most iconic players in NBA history. Lou gave a good point about James’ legacy. Because he has many iconic moments. This includes game 7 decisions and tracking blocks for the 2016 NBA Finals.
