LeBron James immediately took to social media to react to Austin Reeves’ career night, scoring 51 points to help the Los Angeles Lakers defeat the Sacramento Kings.

When the LA Lakers announced today that Luka Doncic would be out for at least a week with an injury, many felt it would be a significant dip in form.

Doncic was phenomenal in the first two games of the NBA season, scoring over 40 points in both games.

After missing a 50-point game, Austin Reeves made fun of Luka Doncic for missing his free throws and paying a huge price.

Now, tonight, Reaves scored 51 points to help the Lakers win against the Sacramento Kings, putting him one step ahead of Doncic.

LeBron James took to social media to react to Austin Reeves’ impressive 51 points against the Sacramento Kings. The king wrote:

He was completely impressed by the sensational Reeves. In a subsequent post, James took some clever jabs at Doncic while praising the Lakers’ talented backcourt.

“Damn, that’s crazy. I almost got like 50 balls in a row. Damn it, Don! The backcourt is terrible!”

If there are any questions about LeBron James’ enthusiasm for the Lakers, these comments will go a long way in reassuring fans about his love and dedication to his teammates.

Oh my god, I almost threw 50 pitches in a row. Damn it! ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ!Sick back coat! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ

The loss to the Golden State Warriors wasn’t the best performance for the Lakers this season, but they’ve bounced back nicely since then.

Austin Reeves was a man on a mission tonight, knowing he had to lead the team as the No. 1 option on offense.

Deandre Ayton’s strong record of 21 points and a double-double is attracting attention. Ayton showed he can be a strong center for them based on his performance against Rudy Gobert.

And if the Lakers can maintain this momentum by the time LeBron James returns, they are sure to make a big splash in the Western Conference.
