LeBron James has achieved success in every era of the NBA in favor of Giannis Antetokounmpo.

LeBron James was often fired by several NBA critics because of all his greatness. One of the biggest claims made against him is the era he plays.

For many, LeBron never endures the legends of previous eras. Because he had to endure the level of physicality the NBA had seen for years.

Stephen A. Smith has consistently used this point to downplay LeBron James’ goat case. But LeBron isn’t the only one facing this criticism.

Players like Stephen Curry are often neglected when compared to legends of the 80s and 90s. But now, LeBron James has fought back against those critics.

In a clip of his upcoming interview with the Pat McCuffy Show, LeBron James appeared to respond to contemporary NBA critics and their stars.

As an example, using Giannis Antetokounmpo, Lebron asked the panel why Giannis Antetokounmpo couldn’t succeed in his skills and construction in the 70s.

“Do you think Giannis says he can’t play NBA games in the 70s? Giannis Antetokounmpo scores 250 points in games in the 70s. 250!”

This is clearly a hyperbolic statement from LeBron, but he is trying to make the case that today’s NBA athletes will flourish in past times.

LeBron James is frank about how the NBA media doesn’t trust athletes today. And given the strength he holds in the league, it’s good to see him stick to his contemporaries.

James is perhaps the most scrutinized player in NBA history. Over the past 20 years at least, the league star has faced a lot of criticism from analysts, both in and out of the sport, just like him.

In most cases, LeBron is a class act about situations and doesn’t take a pot shot in return. But at some point, rubber has come across the road.

Hopefully, over time, media members begin to recognize the value that today’s athletes bring to the NBA, not just using the past as a hammer, but defeating them.
