LeBron James reveals "strong as a cow" the toughest NBA defender he has ever faced

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is one of the most talented and offensive players in NBA history.

This is clear from the fact that LeBron James is the NBA’s all-time highest scorer with over 42,000 points in his career.

That’s just one of his scorers, but does that mean that King has never been challenged by a defender? Certainly not because the NBA has a significant share of good defenders.

Former LA Lakers star Metta World Peace is currently in the headlines thanks to his suggestion to take over the New York Knicks head coaching job.

World Peace is considered a candidate for the Knicks’ job because of his incredible tenacity and toughness. Speaking of which, World Peace was a talented advocate during his day playing.

James has named him as the toughest defender he has ever faced in a recent episode of the “Mind the Game” podcast.

“Yeah, Ron Artest. Metta World Peace Now. I was really good with his hands, really good on the side, strong like a cow.

“One of the best defenders I’ve played against. I had to go straight back to my early days. Ron definitely liked you, this is the purpose of the league.

The 4X NBA champion added: “This is the hell of a test as a high school 18 year old with a target on the back. “Yeah, I love this. This is amazing.”

Artest may be five years older than James, but receiving praise from the 4X NBA champions is always a big deal for a former NBA player.

After learning what the king said about him, it was proven once again as world peace appears to be on the moon.

“Scream to the king! King of the building. Man, I have given praise for him for a long time.

“But it was never rude. It was competitive. I always wanted to play the best, and that’s how I grew up in New York City.

“…I already know I’m in the Hall of Fame, but I’m grateful for the compliments,” the 2010 NBA champion concluded.

Artest faces a considerable portion of his troubles in the NBA, defeating Michael Jordan’s ribs and the infamous “palace malice” incident.

But under all of that, world peace has gained more respect from its peers than his 17 years in the NBA.
