Leeds United and Everton are among the clubs eager to sign Liverpool attacker Harvey Elliott during the summer transfer.
The 22-year-old could potentially move this summer in search of normal playing time. According to TBR Football, several Premier League clubs have asked about his situation and they are closely monitoring him.
Elliot needs movement
Elliott has proven himself a capable performer in the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League against Liverpool. However, he couldn’t hold back his usual starting spot. He may need to leave the Premier League champions to play more frequently. It remains to be seen whether Leeds, Everton and others can offer exit routes.
Both clubs have asked about him, but it is still unclear whether they will follow up on the official offer.
Leeds and Everton can use Harvey Elliott
Leeds needs more quality in the last third, and a 22-year-old could be an ideal acquisition. He can slot into multiple offensive roles and will improve them in the future. They have secured promotions to the Premier League and could be an attractive destination for younger attackers. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops.
His bitter rival Everton is also watching him. It will be interesting to see if Liverpool are ready to get players to join Crosstown rivals.
Former Liverpool player Neil Meller named the 22-year-old “a special talent.” There is no doubt that he can develop into a top-class Premier League player with proper guidance. It remains to be seen whether Liverpool has decided to accept his offer this summer.
Former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is reportedly keen to bring players to RB Leipzig. He should consider joining a club he plays regularly next season.
