Leeds has been keen to add Premier League experiences to their teams this summer, and is now offered the opportunity to sign someone who meets this standard.

Leeds may have won the championship this season, but as proven by Leicester, it is not a guarantee that they will survive in the Premier League. So you need to do important business to make sure Daniel Fark’s team is ready to return to the top English Football flight.

One position that is likely to be addressed is the striker, especially as Mateo Joseph can leave in strong interest from La Liga. Leeds is keen to see someone push Joel Pillow and the perfect option may have appeared.

As Graeme Bailey told Leedsunited.news, Leeds was given the opportunity to throw a hat in the ring to sign Jamie Vardy when Leicester’s contract expired.

“His people do so many jobs and Leeds is one of the clubs that I’ve been contacted. But I’ll be back with that, is he better than what you have?

As far as backup options go, Vardy is perfect for Leeds. However, it is unwise for the club to not try to sign a striker who scored eight Premier League goals at least at age 38, but they could face competition from something like Tottenham.

We don’t know where Vardy will end this summer yet, but for now, Leeds looks like an option — even if it’s outside.
