Leicester City is reportedly falling into the mix due to the potential relocation of Besictus midfielder Alex Oclade Chanberlain this summer.
A report from Turkish outlet Fotomac says a former Liverpool man could be allowed to leave, Besiktas manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Although not confirmed at this stage by the player or either club, Fotomac claims that Leicester has offered to Oxlade-Chamberlain a contract.
The 31-year-old makes sense as an attractive signature to the fox in preparation for his life in the championship next season.
Leicester can’t afford to do anything too loud, so if you can use someone like Oxlade-Chamberlain, you can do well.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain transfers have several risks
But at the same time, Oxlade-Chamberlain’s move could be dangerous due to his recent injury record.
Oxlade-Chamberlain was once a key player for Liverpool and before that, he has faded a bit in recent years, making him appear as a shadow of his former self.
Oxlade-Chamberlain played just nine league matches in his final season at Anfield, but most of them were not a start, but he has managed 38 appearances in the Turkish League over two seasons.
Still, the move to King Power Stadium could make sense for Oclade-Chamberlen at this stage of his career.
The former England International feels confident he still has something to offer, and descending to the championship may help him regain his confidence and rediscover his best form.
