According to Sky Germany, RB Leipzig will be open to selling Xavi Simons this summer, but only if the offer meets an 80 million euro valuation for his services.
At this point, if Liverpool and Manchester United are interested, leaving the Bundesliga side, the Premier League seems most likely to see Dutch attack the midfielders. Manchester City also came to race at one stage, barely a surprise given the need to revamp the team from 2025/26.
Simons, who just turned 22, is in relatively good shape this season, scoring 10 goals in 29 matches in all Leipzig tournaments and producing six assists. His contract at Red Bull Arena runs until the summer of 2027, so if you want to avoid the risk of selling forced prices later, it makes sense for Leipzig to sell now.
Both Liverpool and United have Dutch players in the ranks. However, unless United wins the Europa League this semester, it is clearly an advantage for Merseysiders that Liverpool can offer Champions League football next season.

Speaking to Sky today, he said: “I’m still a young player. I have a lot of dreams and the club knows that. But now, the most important thing for me is to play well in the upcoming games. pic.twitter.com/ys4qqibpqb
