Arsenal has been strongly associated with the exciting La Liga talent moves for some time, and he has been compared to Lionel Messi of all.
That’s not a bit of a weird comparison, as the player in question is the goalkeeper and so is Espanyol’s Joan Garcia.
Cadena Sel is one of the stores that recently report that Arsenal is in Paul’s position to sign Garcia this summer.
Other top clubs imagine they will certainly join for the talented Spanish shot stopper in the near future.
Espanyol’s manager Manolo Gonzalez was discussing Garcia and said that the team that had his team was like when Barca had Messi.

This will certainly excite Arsenal fans, but the link with Garcia is a bit surprising, but they still have David Raya as number one.
Raya remains a top-class “keeper” and it’s hard to see him losing his position as the starter of Mikel Arteta’s Xi Jinbun.
But at the same time, it certainly doesn’t make sense for the AFC to sign someone as good as Garcia just to put it on the bench.
Despite Liverpool agreeing to his deal last summer, the 23-year-old could probably go on loan first or stay in Espanyol for another year, as Giorgi Mamardashvili did in Valencia this season.
