The Los Angeles have lost their fifth straight game to the Milwaukee Brewers this season, but they hope to turn things around with Sunday’s series finale.
The lineup showed some indications on Saturday night, with multiple players hitting Homer. But securing a victory over Milwaukee wasn’t enough.
Brewers left-handed pitcher Jose Quintana will be taking part in the bump on Sunday. Southpaw boasts a 3.28 ERA with 48 strikeouts this season.
Shohei Ohtani is not in the leadoff spot in the series finale against Brewers.
As the try to avoid a sweep, Mookie Betts returned to the lineup after sitting for Saturday’s game. Manager Dave Roberts explained why he benched Betts for the day as the star went 4-4 on the plate on Friday night.
Betts will lead the for the first time since last June.
