Yamamoto (5-3, 2.12 ERA) is facing Diamondbacks right-handed Ryne Nelson (1-1, 5.13 ERA). Yamamoto pitched five innings against the Diamondbacks on May 8, allowing five runs and six hits in the worst outing of the season. Nelson pitched two scoreless innings against the on May 10, saving Corbin Burns’ bailout.
