High-voltage protests over the alleged manipulation of voter lists in India Bloc led to the detention of several senior opposition leaders in New Delhi, but that was Samajwadi MP Priya Saroj.

Amidst barricades, intense conflicts and slogan shading, the camera caught the moment when it went viral. There, Priya Saroji was jumping into action to save the TMC MP Mitali bag, which had collapsed under boiling heat and moisture.
Saroji caught Mitari’s bag before falling, called out to the car, and even tried to revive it with a splash of water. Afterwards, TMC’s Sayoni Ghosh joined in the help, and soon Rahul Gandhi arrived, allowing Mitali to move safely to the car waiting for medical assistance.

After a while, Saroji returned to the action, reciting his slogans with Priyanka Gandhi and Dimple Yadav from shoulder to shoulder before being taken into custody by the police along with other MPs. Within the police bus, the voices of young Samajwadi MPs could be heard over the crowd, leading the hymn to what the opposition calls “a fair democratic death.”
The protest scene was packed with politicians and party members, grabbed placards, yelling slogans and pushing police barricades against them. At one point, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav was seen taking part in the march by climbing two barricades. Recently, Rahul Gandhi accused the BJP of working with the election commission to “steal” the votes and cited the evidence in the video.

Meanwhile, after a video of Priya Saroj going to prison with Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi, some fans have called on BCCI to drop Rinku Singh from the Indian cricket team. Some fans have suggested that Link leave the game.

Recently, Priya Saroj gave a sweet surprise to Rinku Singh, who is currently busy preparing for both Asia Cup 2025 and the UP T20 League. The Indian batter was part of the 2025 UP T20 league Meerut Mavericks team and while practicing at Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex in Noida, his fiancé arrived unexpectedly to meet him.
