Liverpool, Manchester United and Newcastle United are linked to the movements of Portugal’s international defender Goncaro Inasio.
The 23-year-old has been doing very well for the club and country in recent seasons, and he has linked to multiple clubs. According to Portuguese publication O Jogo, players are attracting interest from Liverpool, Manchester United and Newcastle. He has a release clause of €60 million on his contract, but the sports may be willing to sell him at a more reasonable price than this summer.
Liverpool needs Goncaro Inacio
It will be interesting to see if Liverpool will come forward with an offer to sign him.
They need another central defender and Inacio will be a quality long-term acquisition. Joe Gomez is struggling with permanent injuries issues and Jarrell Quanza is not ready to start every week for his team, hoping to win a major trophy.
Man United and Newcastle Keene
Manchester United, meanwhile, looked defensively vulnerable, so they need some upgrades to their current defenders. The 23-year-old has the quality to succeed in the Premier League and he could become a key player for Manchester United. Inacio plays together on Sports CP under Ruben Amorim and should be able to settle for Manchester United in no time. The opportunity to reunite with his former manager is very appealing to the player.
Finally, Newcastle will secure Champions League qualifications and need quality players. They need Sven Bottman’s trustworthy defensive partner, and Portugal International could potentially be the ideal fit for them.
It will be interesting to see if any of the three Premier League clubs will remain interested in the official suggestion of signing players. They want him to sign for a reasonable amount.
