Liverpool may be looking to win the Premier League, but their teams may look significantly different by the end of the summer. It appears Trent Alexander Arnold is planning to join Real Madrid at the end of his contract. And there may be an even bigger name that joins him at the exit door through the transfer window.
The area Liverpool is most likely to deal with during the summer is their attack. Mohamed Salah’s decision to sign a contract extension means that the right wing is fine, but the other two positions appear to see major changes before the launch of the 2025-26 campaign.
This is because Liverpool is considering breaking up with three offensive options. Darwinnes, Diogojota and Luis Diaz have been strongly linked to Barcelona in recent months.
Arne slots are willing to part ways with the trio attacking Liverpool
Former scout Mick Brown told Football Insider that Arne Slot hasn’t been impressed with the trio in recent months. For this reason, he is open to leaving them by the end of the summer.
“They finally reached an agreement with Sarah and Van Dick. Now they can focus their attention on the rest of their team and the positions they feel they need to strengthen. From what I’ve heard, slots aren’t entirely happy with the three forward players Diaz, Jota and Nunes.
“There’s a story that interests them and the situation may be something to watch. They use that money to sign a new forward that suits their style. It’s important not to lose too many players, but I feel that we can make improvements.”
It may be a busy summer for Liverpool, but slots and supporters hope that his team will end up getting stronger than they are now.
