Liverpool avoided the defeat as Federico Chiesa netted an equalizer in the 87th minute after kicking out 1-0 in a majority match against Crystal Palace on Saturday at Selhurst Park in Liverpool. However, Eddie Nketzia won the Forbidden Palace as the defender was thrown suspiciously during the seven minutes of stoppage time.
Liverpool head coach Arne Slot was not impressed with the way his players defended the box. He didn’t mention the player’s name, but it’s clear that he was referring to last season’s Premier League player of the year, Mohamed Sarah, after looking at the goal footage.
Arne Slot calls one of his players for a late and important error in his defeat at Crystal Palace.
“One of our players decided to run out of money because he wanted to counterattack. 😤 pic.twitter.com/8jzzii9kfm
